Radio Show #267 – The Capitol Steps Return
To Northampton!

The premiere musical satire group, The Capitol Steps are coming back to New England for one performance, October 18th at 7:30 p.m., at The Academy of Music Theater in Northampton!

The Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them.

Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded over 35 albums, including their latest, The Lyin’ Kings.

They’ve been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard twice a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their Politics Takes a Holiday radio specials.

No one is immune – not the President, the Congress, the Supreme Court. All are subjects of the razor sharp wit in the the music of this talented troupe.

Writer, performer and Capitol Stepper Mike Thornton joins us in this program to reflect on his years with the group, and to tell you what you are in for at their show!
