William C. Sullivan, who served as the 48th mayor of Springfield in the mid-1970s, has passed away at the age of 95.

The sad news was announced last evening (8/26) by current Mayor Domenic J. Sarno. The former mayor was a resident of the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home. He served his nation during World War II.

Personal recollections of his life and work for the city of Springfield mark this exclusive interview with international political analyst and consultant Anthony Cignoli.
