One of the plays, “The War and Walt Whipple,” is a personal memoir Danny has penned, himself!

In a conversation with Brad Shepard, the playwright explains the origin of this reality-based, personal family narrative.

Set in 1943, “The War and Walt Whipple” presents a  chaotic domestic scene in which the wives of newly-inducted brothers descend upon the home of their grandfather.
